LASALLE College of the Arts (UAS) BA Fashion Design and Textile Works Year1 Sem1

This design book presents a biomorphic fashion project developed during Year 1 Semester 1 in August 2025. The project explores how the vitality of blooming flowers and layered leaves can be translated into fashion through research, silhouette experimentation, textile exploration, and technical development. Inspired by petal geometry, radial growth, and overlapping natural structures, I built a design language rooted in organic expansion, layering, and sculptural volume.

The book documents the full design process from initial research and contemporary fashion analysis to draping experiments, pattern cutting, textile swatches, technical flats, and final look development. Alongside the studio skirt prototype, I developed a motif and pattern library, repeat patterns, and stitch-based surface studies to explore how floral forms could be expressed through both garment shape and textile surface. The final outcome is a mini-collection that translates the movement, depth, and blooming rhythm of nature into wearable fashion forms.
